| "...for a safer South Africa". All people need to work together as a T.E.A.M (Together Each Achieves More). that's still a long way off but every little bit of effort counts. If great ideas come and they are strategically acted upon, with enough attention-grabbing 'noise' around them, then so much the better for cause (in informing all those who are genuinely unaware that they too can do whatever little bit they can to fight crime) |

| Your work is truly a beam of hope, whatever amount of change you achieve in communities,in families,in the hearts of individuals is phenomenal.Any assistance given to one radiates through their attitude and actions and so the good that is achieved by the institute grows and touches people(individual-by-individual.Keep doing the best that can be done-by remaining in existence and through that people know someone out there cares... (my residence manager has come up with an idea that has the potential of greatly assisting this beautiful cause and i'm sincerely hopeful that it'll have an extraordinary impact in the fight against crime and its aftermath...til then keep fighting the GOOD fight) |

| Dear Soraya and NICRO staff
I regularly pop in to the website to see how things are going. I was delighted to read of the Colloquium on with Indigenous leaders, with a focus on Restorative Justice.
I fondly remember the era in the early nineties of Restorative Justice making it's way as a concept into NICRO circles, and how NICRO (and Southern Africa workers in this field) could bring a unique experience to the world stage. While much of the Restorative Justice work in the Northern Hemisphere came from another perspective, Southern Africa, New Zealand and Australia (and Canada) brought in concepts of Restorative Justice from traditional leaders. I applaud NICRO's work in this area.

| You were there when I needed you to assist me with my daughter. If it wasn't for you I don't know how I would have worked through my problem. Thank you NICRO for caring. |
