Self-Referrals
NICRO does not only take clients from the courts. Any person can access our services if there is a match between their needs and our offerings.
Diversion referrals
Our diversion service is accessed through the courts. If you or a loved one has been arrested and you would like to find out if diversion may be an option, your legal representative must speak to the public prosecutor dealing with your case.
Non-custodial sentencing referrals
Our NCS service is accessed through the courts. If you are arrested and sent to trial, you can ask your legal representative to request consideration for a NCS from the judge, magistrate or prosecutor.
Prison referrals
If you or a loved one is in prison wishes to access a NICRO programme, please contact your nearest NICRO office to see what services are offered in your area.
School referrals
If you are a parent, teacher or a pupil and would like NICRO to consider your school for services, please contact your nearest NICRO office to find out what services are available in your area and who you should speak to.
