Close Vosman Court Open Day Witbank Mpumalanga 2011

This is a photo of the NICRO Emalahleni staff with other stakeholders during the open day at Vosman Magistrate Court on 28 October 2011 where plus minus 2000 community members were reached. Information regarding NCS, NICRO, programmes, and processes were shared. NICRO was also given a platform on the stage to talk with all the members of the community and all stakeholders. The stakeholders who were involved were Dept. of Justice (local, Provincial, and National), SAPS, NPA, Khulisa, Legal Aid S.A., Dept. of Correctional Services, Dept. of Social Development, Dept. Affairs, and Emalahleni Local Municipality. The media (Witbank News) was also there.

He has served as vice chairperson since 2006 and in the absence of a chairperson would assume the responsibilities without any fuss. He has promoted NCS at Provincial and local forums among court officials. He also assisted us in orientating the Queenstown site and its LSC on their role and responsibilities. Even though he is a Senior Magistrate he never declines to assist with any task and was instrumental in the PE site securing a group work room, an office and even use of the telephone at DoJ’s expense.
